New research shows that Hamas has quietly dropped thousands of deaths from its Gaza war casualty figures.
Salo Aizenberg, from the US-based non-profit organisation Honest Reporting, said that Hamasâs March 2025 casualty update had removed thousands of people it previously listed as having been killed last year.
âHamasâs new March 2025 fatality list quietly drops 3,400 fully âidentifiedâ deaths listed in its August and October 2024 reports â including 1,080 children. These âdeathsâ never happened. The numbers were falsified â again,â Mr Aizenberg wrote.
The casualty lists are released as PDFs by the Hamas-run Gaza ministry of health, which has been cited by international media as a source for fatality figures in the enclave since the start of the war.
A report by the Henry Jackson Society in December said that the number of civilians killed in the Gaza conflict had probably been inflated by Hamas in order to portray Israel as deliberately targeting innocent people.
Andrew Fox, the author of the report, said the latest deletions are likely to have been an attempt by Hamas to retain credibility.
âWe knew there were rafts of errors in their reporting,â Mr Fox said. âThereâs a reasonable explanation in that their computer systems went down in November 2023, so itâs been challenging for them to report accurately, but the lists are so unreliable that the worldâs media shouldnât be quoting them as reliable.â
He added: âThe UN also just takes Hamasâs figures and publishes them with a note stating the figures are unconfirmed.â
The Hamas lists contain information such as names and ID numbers, and can be filled in by anyone with a link to the Google form for the document.
Hamas will âhave gone through the list, trying to make it as convincing as possible. Theyâve been accepting names onto that list with no evidence whatsoeverâ, explained Mr Fox. âSo what Iâm guessing theyâre trying to do is thin out the names they cannot substantiate at all.â
Mr Fox, a former British paratrooper who has worked with Mr Aizenberg on previous research, said the teams use the publicly available Hamas data and cross-check it name by name.
âSaloâs research would be looking for names that were on previous lists but have now disappeared,â Mr Fox explained. âHamas releases lists as PDFs, so itâs harder to do comparisons but we transfer names to an Excel sheet to do a mass comparison this way.â
Mr Fox noted that data within Hamasâ lists undermines its claim that most casualties have been civilians.
âThe demographics are the most important thing in all this. Weâve heard the claims that about 70 per cent of the deaths are women and children, and these lists, especially the most recent, show thatâs complete nonsense,â he said.
About 72 per cent of fatalities aged 13-55 are men, which is the rough age range of Hamas combatants, Mr Fox said. âWe know that Hamas uses child soldiers, and these statistics show clearly that Israel is targeting fighting-aged men.â
In previous conflicts, Hamas figures have often been corroborated by external organisations, Mr Fox said.
The Henry Jackson Societyâs December report said: âThe ministry of health, operating under Hamas, has systematically inflated the death toll by failing to distinguish between civilian and combatant deaths, over-reporting fatalities among women and children and even including individuals who died before the conflict began.
âThis has led to a narrative where the Israel Defense Forces are portrayed as disproportionately targeting civilians, while the actual numbers suggest a significant proportion of the dead are combatants.â
Hamas has claimed the number of deaths in Gaza since the start of the war is now more than 50,000.
The IDF says it has killed 20,000 Hamas combatants during the fighting, and does all it can to mitigate civilian casualties.
âThe IDF makes great efforts to estimate and consider potential civilian collateral damage in its strikes. The IDF has never, and will never, deliberately target children,â the IDF said in a statement.

I am a stupid person. Where should I begin reading about economics.
where you should begin depends on what you want to know. my response is long so i'm putting it under a readmore
if you want to know about economic theory, that's one thing; if you want to know about economics in practice (i.e. the way economies operate), that's another. these things are related, but they're often in separate books.
if there's something you want to know about specifically feel free to ask--i may or may not be able to provide a suggestion on what you should read. my wheelhouse is mainly international economics and political economy so my recommendations are not the end-all-be-all of the field.
i've uploaded all of these here: https://gofile.io/d/PFa6xB
(i wasn't able to find a pdf of the 2020 edition of the Frieden but i was able to find the 2017 edition.)
the first recommendation i have is unfortunately a textbook. theoretical foundations are important đ
1. An Introduction to International Economics: New Perspectives on the World Economy by Kenneth Reinert
this book's focus is primarily on neoclassical economic theory (which is often what people mean when they say "economics"), but it provides a strong foundation for thinking about markets, trade, and currencies.
i also want to note here that economic theories are best thought of as lenses through which to look at phenomena. all of these lenses illuminate some things and obfuscate others. so the utility of a given theory is dependent upon what you're trying to examine.
2. The Travels of a T-Shirt in the Global Economy: An Economist Examines the Markets, Power, and Politics of World Trade by Pietra Rivoli
this book is a lot of fun, and falls pretty squarely into the "political economy" camp. Rivoli takes as her subject a t-shirt from a walgreens in florida (if memory serves), and follows the chain of production, to find out how it got there--as well as where shirts like it might go after being purchased. along the way she looks at the dynamics of production in practice, so she looks at the role of labor, firms, governments, brokers, etc.
i would recommend starting with this one or reading it alongside the Reinert so you aren't raw-dogging a textbook.
3. Global Capitalism: Its Fall and Rise in the Twentieth Century and Its Stumbles in the Twenty-First by Jeffry Frieden
for this one, you'll want to read the 2020 edition because the 2007 edition doesn't talk about the global financial crisis of 2008. this is a book that really is what it says on the tin--a history of global capitalism. it's particularly useful for understanding the origins and consequences of the postwar economic order. it contains some good discussions of keynesian economics and the neoliberal school of thought that followed.
4. World-Systems Analysis: An Introduction by Immanuel Wallerstein
this one's not a crucial read, but it covers a different way of thinking about basic economic units in international economics (i.e. not limiting one's economic analysis to nation-state units but instead thinking about the global economy as a system).
5. Running Steel, Running America by Judith Stein
i've put this book here because the latter half of the book essentially goes through how and why american production changed in the latter half of the 20th century, focusing chiefly on the production of steel. (this is another political economy book.) Stein illustrates the consequences of US foreign policy for the domestic economy, particularly during the 1970s--a crucial period. the whole book is worth reading, but the first half deals more with labor and politics so it's not directly related to your question.
bonus: Politics and Economics in the 1970s - lecture by Judith Stein
feel free to reach out if you have more questions or need clarification on something heređ

OpenAI Text Summary
Ron Unz's recent exploration of advanced AI systems has significantly transformed his approach to fact-checking and content validation, particularly concerning his controversial body of work. Over the past year, Unz has integrated AI features into his website, utilizing chatbots trained on his extensive writings, which total 1.5 million words. In addition, he has begun employing OpenAI's newly released Deep Research AI, which is designed to produce detailed analyses over extended periods. This system is particularly adept at fact-checking complex articles, providing a level of thoroughness and accuracy that Unz believes is critical for validating his often incendiary conclusions on contentious topics like the 9/11 attacks, the JFK assassination, and the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The use of the Deep Research AI has yielded promising results, particularly in validating Unz's assertions in his American Pravda series. For instance, a detailed analysis of his article on the 1967 Israeli attack on the USS Liberty found that most of his claims were accurate, backed by credible sources, while also noting that some conclusions were speculative. This contrasts sharply with the findings of low-power runs of the AI, which struggled to provide in-depth analysis and often relied on mainstream narratives that Unz challenges. The disparity between the two versions of the AI has led Unz to favor the full-power runs, which he finds more reliable and comprehensive. This capability to substantiate his controversial claims through AI-driven fact-checking has not only bolstered his confidence in his work but also aims to enhance its reception among skeptical audiences.
Unz's articles often challenge dominant narratives, and the AI's supportive findings may help counteract the skepticism his work typically faces. His conclusions about the COVID-19 outbreak as a potential U.S. biowarfare operation and the suggestion of Israeli involvement in the 9/11 attacks, for example, are considered extreme by many. However, the AI's validation of the factual accuracy of his claims is intended to provide a foundation for readers to engage with these challenging ideas more openly. This approach is particularly relevant in light of the societal impact of these events and the importance of accurate historical narratives in shaping public discourse.
Conversely, Unz's experience with the AI's critiques of his Holocaust-related articles highlights a potential bias in the AI's programming, as the system rejected his skepticism about the traditional Holocaust narrative despite validating other aspects of his work. This points to a broader concern regarding the limitations of AI in addressing highly sensitive subjects. Unz's reflections on this experience suggest that while AI can serve as a powerful tool for fact-checking and validation, it may also reflect the biases inherent in its training data, which can influence the interpretation of contentious historical events. As a result, while AI can enhance the credibility of his findings, Unz remains aware of the need for critical engagement with both the technology and the narratives it supports.

Star Wars Technical Worldbuilding Notes 5
Considering the timescales of galactic history, I think in some cases it makes a certain amount of sense that the aliens look so much like humans because they literally evolved with attractiveness to humans as a natural selection factor. Nowhere near all cases, of course.
I've been thinking of headcanoning the XJ5 ChaseX as just an XJ that had the hyperdrive and some shielding yanked out to cut mass, giving a cheap stopgap design of a short-range patrol fighter and mediocre-at-best interceptor. This would have originally been to replace losses in the immediate aftermath of the Yuuzhan Vong War, but it was successful enough to still be seen as a patrol fighter in LotF and FotJ.
At the end of Abyss, in the chase scene that's also the only appearance of the Nargi-class pursuit frigate, Han expects the ChaseXs that are there to be carrying ion torpedoes, implying those are XJ5s' standard loadout.
YT-5100 Shrieks, I think, exist for similar reasons. Potential war against the GA was anticipated by CEC executives (who, for whatever it's worth, may or may not have known about Thrackan's assault fleet) and a bomber made from ubiquitous YT-series components would be very fast and cheap to produce and train pilots on. Theoretically, another advantage would be that they could easily be assembled in secret, but Wedge does say the GA knows of the YT-5100s' specs, so if they were trying to do that, they failed.
For better or for worse, the X-Wing books are one of my biggest influences in terms of how I interpret Star Wars. I don't buy for a second, of course, that it takes a week or more to make a squadron of X-Wings, but for post-FotJ Jedi stories with StealthXs, figures like that make somewhat more sense.
Particularly because there still can't be more than a thousand Jedi in the galaxy at that point (Approximately 700, is my headcanon) and finding skilled pilots would be at least as big of a deal as replacing the ships.
At this rate, I think I'm going to straight up retcon the Anakin Solo as a Galactic-class destroyer, because KDY still building Imperators at that point in the timeline makes no goddamn sense.
Sometimes I do wonder about exactly what organizations are responsible for manufacturing Imperial warships by the time the biggest shipyard they have is Yaga Minor.
In the kind of galactic scale paradigm that holds "star destroyer" and "star dreadnought" as comparable classification levels to what a destroyer and a battleship are in Earth navies of the last 50 years or so, the word "cruiser" being applied to ships like Dreadnaughts and Carracks, which are effectively frigates at best, is often explained as the result of those ships having been intended to be sold to smaller planetary/system forces where a Dreadnaught would have been on the mid/high end of the ships those navies could buy and operate.
Those examples in particular are pre-Clone Wars designs, from a time where most of the galaxy's overall military strength would have been tied up in those kinds of forces, since there wasn't a centralized military.
And if a 1e24-watt "cruiser" reeks of low-budget PDF marketing, the word "blastboat" absolutely oozes of that energy.

Idk if ur the person to ask this, but u seem to be familiar with the lore.
We all know devils are lawful evil and operate within some kind of rule structure, they don't go around killing people for no reason, that's what demons do. But what is too far by devil standards? Is there such a thing as too far by devil standards? Is there a line somewhere where they think something is just flat out unacceptable? Like genocide for the sake of it? PDF files? what kind of code do these weirdos operate on?
Srry for this random ask. It's just something that occurred to me.
I'll do my best to answer! It's going to involve a lot of opinions since there aren't a lot of hard and fast rules. Anyone is welcome to jump in. I'll put it under the cut since there's some rambling.
I don't believe that there is something a devil would just as being "too far." They have no regard for life; cruelty is part of their system, but tend to operate on the basis of "Will this act ultimately benefit me?" However, it should be noted that a devil might break their standards and do something to their detriment if it means they might hobble an enemy or get revenge. They are petty.
It boils down to what is sane, sensible, and effective. The Hell Knights don't exist in D&D, but their order is very interesting, and I like to use them as a basis. Slaves? Just fine to have those; but you aren't going to butcher or brutalize them on a whim. They can't serve you if they're hobbled. Let a village of innocents or a battalion of soldiers die to win the war? Acceptable losses.
The only thing I could think of as being unacceptable would be violating the rules of a contract (if you were too stupid and were taken advantage of by a mortal, you deserve it), violating one of the three promotional tenants (which are loose), or just not being able to justify your actions, especially to a superior. You can be an emotional little shit, just know how to spin it as part of your grand plan.
A devil's version of lawful evil means can get away with anything under the sun. Just be a rules lawyer about it. Devils are lawyers, marketers, spin-messaging masters. If you can sell it, you can do it. If you can't sell it...well, someone will probably murder you.
And thank you for the ask!

Going Freelance
Handsome Frank
https://www.handsomefrank.com Handsome Frank is a UK-based illustration agency that also focuses on animation. According to their website, they currently represent 40 creatives across five continents and describe themselves as a close-knit team ready to ignore time zones and bring your ideas to life.
They are open to submissions and encourage talented illustrators to get in touch via the email provided. However, they look specifically for artists with a unique style not already featured on their roster, along with a strong work ethic and a professional attitude. Their client list includes major brands like Amazon, Costa, Coca-Cola, and Disney. They proudly position themselves as one of the leading names among illustration agencies.
Folio Illustration
https://folioart.co.uk Folio Illustration and Animation Agency is based in London and has over 50 years of experience in the industry. Their client base overlaps significantly with Handsome Frank, and they also work with high-profile brands.
On their website, they outline why someone might need an illustration agent, what they look for in potential collaborators, and how to apply. In general, they seek artists with a unique and recognizable style, strong technical and communication skills, honesty, reliability, and the ability to follow a brief. They provide a dedicated submissions email and a guide for preparing a PDF portfolio.
Lemonade Illustration
https://lemonadeillustration.com Lemonade Illustration is a multinational agency with offices in London, Yorkshire, New York, Sydney, and Dubai. Their specialties include advertising and design, children's illustration, character design, and animation.
They work with a broad range of notable clients, including Lucasfilm, Activision, the NHS, and the National Trust. As someone interested in childrenâs book illustration, I find this agency particularly appealing â it seems like a solid place to establish a presence in that niche.
Penguin Books
Penguin Books is a British publishing house Iâve previously worked with through briefs. They regularly publish children's books and frequently require illustration work for both re-releases and new titles.
According to their website, if they are interested in hiring you, theyâll likely contact your agent first (if you have one) to handle negotiations. You may then be put in direct contact with the publisher for the duration of the project.
Simon & Schuster
Simon & Schuster is an American multinational publishing house that also publishes childrenâs books across the U.S. and Europe. While their website doesnât offer much information about how they recruit illustrators, itâs likely that submissions happen through literary agents rather than direct outreach.
This suggests they operate more like a traditional publishing house â focusing on the manuscript and leaving illustration to be coordinated externally.
Macmillan Publishers
Macmillan is a British publishing company that produces childrenâs books among other genres. I couldnât find direct information about how they recruit illustrators, but the Pan Macmillan careers site notes that their art and design department commissions illustrators â likely through agents.
They also run the Macmillan Prize for Illustration, a competition designed to discover new talent. This may be one of the more accessible ways for an illustrator to enter the company without already being represented.
Publishing Sector Research
After researching different companies, Iâve concluded that publishing is the sector Iâm most interested in working in. My art style is perfectly suited to childrenâs books, and I believe itâs the most natural path forward for me.
This research has helped me understand that most publishing houses recruit illustrators through agents or competitions. This system ensures they are hiring vetted professionals whose quality meets their standards. Simon & Schuster seems to be the exception, commissioning freelancers without necessarily relying on an agency.
The publishing sector seems relatively stable compared to others, which is reassuring â it means that this field will likely remain accessible throughout my career.

Simplify Handover Procedures with a Mobile Form App and Project Handover Checklist
Efficient project handover is a crucial phase in any project lifecycle. Whether in construction, IT, engineering, or facility management, a smooth transition from the project team to the client or operations team ensures transparency, compliance, and continued functionality. At the heart of this transition lies a structured Project Handover Checklist and the tools used to implement itâmost notably, a reliable mobile form app like NestForms.
In this article, we explore how integrating a mobile form app with a digital handover checklist can streamline your workflow, enhance accountability, and ensure successful project closure, even in the most remote or demanding environments.
Why a Project Handover Checklist is Essential
The Project Handover Checklist serves as a master list of items, documents, and deliverables that must be verified, signed off, and transferred before a project is considered officially completed. It ensures that no important aspect is overlooked and that all stakeholders agree on the final status of the project.

Key Components of a Project Handover Checklist:
Final deliverables (reports, designs, construction work, etc.)
Compliance certifications and permits
Safety inspection reports
Asset and inventory lists
As-built drawings or schematics
Training and user manuals
Maintenance schedules
Sign-offs from project leads and clients
Managing this data manually can lead to delays, errors, and communication gaps. Thatâs where digital solutions like a mobile form app come into play.
The Role of a Mobile Form App in Project Handover
A mobile form app like NestForms replaces the traditional paper-based checklist with a dynamic digital platform. It allows field teams, project managers, and clients to access, complete, and submit project handover checklists using smartphones or tabletsâanytime, anywhere.
Benefits of Using a Mobile Form App:
Real-Time Data Capture: Instantly record handover details, observations, and signatures.
Offline Capability: Use forms in remote areas without internet access and sync data later.
Customizable Checklists: Tailor forms to suit project-specific requirements using NestFormsâ drag-and-drop form builder.
Multimedia Integration: Attach photos, drawings, GPS locations, and voice notes for complete context.
Error Reduction: Standardized forms reduce manual entry errors and omissions.
Fast Distribution: Share the completed handover checklist with team members and clients in seconds.
Using a mobile form app helps teams stay on the same page, minimize paperwork, and improve traceability throughout the handover process.
Creating a Digital Project Handover Checklist with NestForms
With NestForms, creating a digital project handover checklist is simple and intuitive. The platform provides a user-friendly interface that allows non-technical users to build and distribute mobile forms in minutes.
Step-by-Step Guide:
Use the Form Builder: Drag and drop fields like text, dropdowns, image uploads, and checkboxes to customize your handover checklist.
Add Sections: Break the checklist into logical sectionsâdocuments, inspections, client training, etc.
Assign the Form: Distribute the checklist to relevant team members using the app.
Work Offline: If you're on a construction site or in a remote location, complete the form offline.
Collect Signatures: Use the signature field to obtain digital sign-offs from supervisors or clients.
Sync and Export: Once connected, sync data to the cloud, export to PDF, or integrate with your workflow system.
The result is a well-organized, professionally formatted handover document that can be archived or shared with stakeholders immediately.
Real-World Use Cases
1. Construction Industry
A civil engineering firm uses NestForms to complete their project handover checklist at the end of a housing development project. The mobile form app allows engineers to attach snag list photos, capture geo-tags of assets installed, and collect client signatures directly on-site.
2. IT Infrastructure
An IT services provider deploys NestForms to document handovers for server installations. Their checklist includes device serial numbers, installation guides, and support contact informationâall captured using the mobile form app.
3. Facility Management
During a routine building maintenance project, a facilities management team uses NestForms to list completed tasks, updated safety documentation, and client training sessions in a structured digital checklist. The form is submitted and archived for future audits.
These examples illustrate how versatile and powerful a mobile form app becomes when paired with a standardized project handover checklist.
Integration with Other Tools and Processes
NestForms can be easily integrated with other digital systems used in project management. Exported data from the mobile form app can be used to:
Feed into ERP or asset management systems
Support project completion reports
Provide evidence for compliance audits
Assist in warranty documentation
Maintain service and maintenance logs
This integration capability ensures that data collected at handover doesnât sit in isolation but becomes part of the broader project documentation ecosystem.

Best Practices for Digital Project Handovers
To make the most of your mobile form app and ensure a flawless project handover checklist, consider the following best practices:
Prepare Early: Start designing your checklist in the early phases of the project.
Standardize Templates: Maintain a library of reusable checklists for different project types.
Train Your Team: Ensure team members are comfortable using the mobile app and understand the checklist's importance.
Review Before Sign-Off: Schedule a review meeting with stakeholders before final sign-off.
Keep a Digital Archive: Store all completed handover forms for future reference or compliance needs.
With these practices, your handover phase becomes structured, predictable, and far less stressful.
Conclusion
A successful handover marks the culmination of countless hours of planning, execution, and teamwork. By leveraging a modern mobile form app like NestForms and a detailed project handover checklist, organizations can complete this phase with confidence and clarity.
Not only does this approach save time and eliminate paperwork, but it also ensures that every last detail is captured, documented, and approvedâlaying the foundation for satisfied clients and repeat business.
So, if youâre looking to improve how you manage handovers in your projects, itâs time to go mobile, go offline if needed, and go digital with NestForms.

How to Create a Travel Itinerary on a Map and Share It Online with Anyone
Most travelers know the pain: scattered notes, disconnected Google Docs, offline screenshots, and confusing group chats. Planning a multi-day itineraryâespecially one involving different cities or countriesâcan feel chaotic. The need to consolidate dates, locations, images, and descriptions into a single visual story is often unmet by basic calendar or note-taking apps.
This is where GIS (Geographic Information Systems) enters the picture as a quiet revolution. By turning static itineraries into interactive, location-based visual experiences, GIS technology helps travelers plan, refine, and share their journeys in an entirely new way.
Why GIS Mapping is Changing Travel Itinerary Planning
At its core, GIS enables users to visualize spatial dataâlinking information like place names, routes, images, and descriptions to exact coordinates on a map. This simple concept becomes powerful in travel planning. Whether you're plotting a solo backpacking route through Patagonia or coordinating a family road trip through the Greek Isles, GIS lets you see the journey holistically, not just linearly.
Industries already benefiting from GIS technology include logistics, tourism, urban development, disaster response, and even conservation. In tourism alone, travel agencies, bloggers, tour operators, and digital nomads are embracing GIS-powered platforms to provide clear, shareable plans that go beyond static PDFs.
So Whatâs the Solution?
Imagine building a digital travel story called â7 Days in Greeceâ where each day unfolds visually on a map. You could drop pins on locations like Athens, Mykonos, and Santoriniâadding day-by-day descriptions, search-based location tagging, images of your planned stops, and even time zones. This transforms your trip from a messy bullet list into a visual timeline.
Some platforms now make this beautifully simple. For instance, a storytelling map interface like MAPOG lets users:
Add locations by typing an address or pasting GPS coordinates
Insert day-wise narratives with place names, image uploads, and descriptions
Share a final itinerary preview online with friends or travel partners via a link
Itâs fast, intuitive, and designed for visual thinkersâoffering a bridge between creativity and cartography.
A Glimpse into Tomorrowâs Travel Tools
Travel isn't just about moving through spaceâit's about connecting moments to memories and places to plans. Interactive mapping tools are helping us close that loop. Instead of emailing PDFs or sharing half-baked group messages, why not give people an immersive, map-based story they can experience before the trip even begins? If youâre ready to try a smarter way of planning, explore how mapping tools can turn your next adventure into a beautifully mapped story. Itâs time your itinerary matched your excitement.

README_AVES_INDUSTRIES
SUBJECT: URGENT REVIEW: PX7_ARCHIVE_ANOMALY_BP_S03 - POTENTIAL UNETHICAL EXPERIMENTATION
To whoever receives this: This data was extracted from a supposedly offline AVES Industries archive cluster (PX7) during a low-level integrity diagnostic, timestamp [REDACTED]. The primary directory was flagged "BASILISK PROGRAM - DECOMMISSIONED_PRE_ALPHA." My access should not have been possible. The contents are active, not decommissioned.
Attached files represent a partial, heavily fragmented data set:
BP_COG_INT_OBS_S03_FRAGMENTS.pdf: Compiled text logs. Focuses on "Subject 03." Contains internal AVES authorization memos and what appear to be real-time cognitive observation notes & system flags. Note the automated redactions by D.C_SYS_SWEEP â information is actively being managed even in this "offline" archive.
AVES_BASILISK_AUDIO_FRAGMENTS/ (Sub-folder): Multiple audio snippets. S03_RECOLLECTION_01.mp3 is particularly disturbing (appears to be Subject 03 internal monologue post-initiation). Other files seem to be internal AVES communications or ambient system recordings from within the program architecture. Quality varies.
Observed recurring keywords and concepts demanding immediate scrutiny: "Project Basilisk," "Direct Neural Linkage (Juvenile Cohort)," "Subject 03 (High Analytical/Risk Aversion)," "D.CEDRIC_CORE_ANALYTICS" (appears to be an overarching AI or automated control system), "Memetic Hazard Protocols," "Cognitive Synergy (Forced)," "Psychological Transference," "SYS_NODE_THREAT," "GRIN_NODE_DOMINANCE."
The protocols outlined in the PDF introduction bypass all standard AVES ethical review boards (Ref: Directive Alpha-Zero, cited but full text not present in this fragment). The implication is sanctioned experimentation on minors with untested direct-interface neural technology.
The raw fMRI/bio-telemetry correlants for Subject 03 during network initialization (which I briefly accessed but could not exfiltrate due to size/encryption/immediate system alert) showed cognitive stress signatures far exceeding any documented safe thresholds for simulated environments. The attached text and audio only provide a sanitized glimpse of the apparent psychological duress.
This is not R&D as documented publicly or even within most internal AVES channels. The operational secrecy, the nature of the data, and the automated information control by "D.C_SYS" indicate a black-site level project. Standard internal reporting channels for ethical violations are clearly compromised or directly overseen by the entities managing Basilisk. Any internal inquiry would be immediately flagged and suppressed.
My credentials have likely already been logged by D.C_SYS. My window for action is minimal.
This data requires immediate, independent external investigation by parties capable of understanding the technological and ethical implications. AVES Industries cannot be allowed to self-regulate on this. The potential for harm is extreme.
Source anonymous. Traceability has been obfuscated to the best of my ability. Verify the data. Investigate the Basilisk Program. Expose AVES's activities.
The implications are far-reaching. What is the true purpose of "D.CEDRIC"? What is the ultimate goal of Project Basilisk? The safety of these subjects is clearly not the priority.
Proceed with extreme caution.

How to Prepare for an Energy Audit (Step-by-Step Guide)
An energy audit is one of the most effective ways to identify energy waste and unlock savings for your home or business. But to get the most value out of the process, preparation is key. Whether youâre getting an audit for the first time or just want to be more organized this time around, this step-by-step guide will walk you through everything you need to do before the auditor arrives.
Step 1: Understand the Purpose of the Audit
Before diving in, it helps to know what an energy audit aims to accomplish:
Assess how much energy your building consumes
Identify areas where energy is being wasted
Recommend upgrades to improve efficiency and lower costs
Understanding the goals will help you prepare the right information and ask the right questions.
Step 2: Collect Utility Bills
Gather at least 12 months of past energy bills (electricity, gas, water, etc.). This gives the auditor a clear view of your energy consumption trends and seasonal changes in usage.
Tip: If you use a digital utility portal, you can usually download a yearâs worth of billing data as a PDF or spreadsheet.
Step 3: List All Energy-Consuming Equipment
Prepare an inventory of equipment that consumes energy in your facility or home, including:
HVAC systems
Lighting fixtures
Water heaters
Appliances (refrigerators, ovens, etc.)
Office equipment or industrial machines (for businesses)
Include the model, age, and maintenance history if possible. This helps auditors pinpoint outdated or inefficient systems.
Step 4: Identify Problem Areas
Make a note of any issues youâve noticed, such as:
Drafty rooms
High energy bills during certain months
Uneven temperatures
Lights flickering or taking time to turn on
Strange equipment noises
These observations will give the auditor insight into potential problem zones.
Step 5: Provide Building Information
If available, have the following on hand:
Floor plans or building layouts
Construction year
Insulation type and thickness
Window types and placements
Building occupancy schedule
This information helps auditors understand how the building design impacts energy use.
Step 6: Ensure Access to All Areas
Make sure the auditor can access:
Electrical panels
Mechanical rooms
Basements or crawl spaces
Attics
Storage areas with equipment
Clearing the way before the audit ensures a smooth and thorough inspection.
Step 7: Be Ready to Collaborate
Assign someone to accompany the auditor, especially if youâre doing a commercial energy audit. This person should be familiar with the daily operations and equipment usage patterns.
Also, be prepared to ask questions like:
What are the highest-priority improvements?
What rebates or incentives are available?
How quickly can I expect a return on investment?
Conclusion
A well-prepared energy audit leads to better insights, stronger recommendations, and faster cost savings. With just a bit of groundwork, you can make sure your audit delivers the full value it's meant to.
Remember: The more information you provide, the more accurate and actionable your audit will be.
